Estimate Screen Overview and New Estimate

Objectives
• Understand the Estimates screen
• How to enter an estimate

Overview
The Estimates screen details parcel information and harvesting estimates for a selected season.
In the example below I am viewing the estimates for all parcels in BJ Grove.
You are able to filter according to your needs. Please refer to “LM-Filters” for more information.

Estimates Screen
 
Clicking on the pencil in the action column will allow you to update your Estimate Quantity, Parcel Status (from active to closed) and enter a close date.

• Action: Allows you to edit an item
• Land Area/Block: Land Area/Block name
• Block No: Block number
• Block Name: Name of Block
• Season: Season selected in filters
• Estimate Quantity: Current estimate quantity
• Parcel Status: Current status of parcel (open, active, closed)
• Parcel Close Date: Date parcel was closed
• Property Land Total: Total land acres
• Property Crop Capacity: Total crop capacity on land
• Parcel: Parcel name
• Variety: Crop variety on parcel
• Parcel Land Total: Total acres for the parcel
• Available: Land area useable for planting
• Unusable: Land area considered unusable for planting (lake/pond, building, drainage ditch)
• Planted: Land area being occupied by a crop
• Capacity: Maximum number of planted units that will fit on land
• Sales Contract: Default Sales contract associated with land parcel
• Parcel Total: total number of trees planted on parcel

Entering Estimates
 

1. From the Estimate Screen select season
2. Select a variety
3. Click Create estimate

Results from clicking Create Estimate
 

4. Enter quantities for all parcels you are updating
5. Click update
