Objectives • Adding a new ProFile • Understand Contacts, Profile Types, Land Owner and Contracts
Overview A ProFile is a record of various vendors, contractors and customers to name a few. The ProFile type may be defined as a Grove Owner, a Vendor, a Contractor, a Customer and many others. Rather than creating a separate record for each of these ProFile Types, you create one ProFile and add the associated ProFile Types. A ProFile can have multiple ProFile types.
Adding a new ProFile
To add a new ProFile click the new profile icon
Note: Items in red are required fields and must be entered
Complete the ProFile details page and click the green insert icon
Understand Contacts, Profile Types, Land Owner and Contracts
The ProFile details page also has 4 tabs of information (Contacts, ProFile Types, Land Owner information and Contracts) associated with this Profile. To get to the ProFile details page click on the ProFile number
• Contacts – Workers associated with the ProFile. You can add a new contact by clicking on the New Contacts icon and entering the Contact information • ProFile Type – ProFile Types associated with this ProFile. Characteristics of the Profile. Example – Vendor, Customer, Grower Harvester, ETC. • Land Owner – Lands associated with this ProFile. This information is carried over from when the Land Parcel was created and you assigned an owner to the land. • Contracts – Contracts with this ProFile. A contract type can be any type of contract (Sales, Harvesting, Hauling…) This information is carried over from the contract was created and a ProFile was assigned.
Adding a ProFile Type to an existing ProFile
To add or edit a Companies ProFile type(s) select the ProFile number from the Work with ProFiles page
Select the Profile Types Tab
Select from the Dropdown the Type to be associated and Status. Enter additional data you want to track via the User fields if applicable. Click the Green Plus to create the record. |
