California Pesticide Usage Reporting (Electronic and Paper)

Overview
The California Usage Reporting allows for electronic sending of data or printing of pesticides that need reporting to Calf. Department of Pesticide Reporting (DPR).  The following will explain the data requirements needed and how each function works (Notice of Intent and Calf. Usage)

Setups Needed
The following data fields are requirement for reporting and are validated against the data presented when applying for a permit.

•    Crop Care Control Table:  
     o    Submit to Calf. Ag. Permits = Yes
     o    Cal. Ag User Name and Password (used for electronic web service)

•    Company /Grower Permit ID – Found under Company Setup.

•    Land Requirements
     o    Site ID
     o    Section, Township, Range
     o    Base Meridian
     o    Land Area County and County Code

•    Commodity Code/Site code – See Calf. DPR for codes.

•    Item record for California Revision Code
     o    Example - “ZA” is the revision code

     o    Restricted = Yes

    

•    Fumigation codes – See Calf. DPR for codes.

Notice of Intent (NOI) Paper/Electronic
This submission is required before the chemical(s) can be applied and requires approval from Calf. DPR.  The work order must be in an Active status.

REPORT:

•    Report Options are County and Date range.

•    Restricted and non-restricted material. 

•    Include Work Orders by Contractor or not.

ELECTRONIC:

•    NOI Electronic Reporting allows for selection of records and then sent via the Submit button.
     o    Note – Once they are submitted and accepted, they will not display on this screen.

California Pesticide Usage Report (PUR)
This submission is required AFTER the chemical(s) have been applied. The work order must be in a Processing or Closed status.

REPORT:
•    Same options as NOI report.

ELECTRONIC:

•    Usage Screen is based on County, Date Range and Chemicals not previously sent to Calf. DPR Website.
     o    Select Records to be sent and click Submit. Once submitted successfully they will not display.
